4th January 2017
Waitrose in St Albans has nominated Druglink to be part of their Community Matters scheme throughout the month of January.
Each month every Waitrose branch donates £1,000 between 3 local good causes. At the end of your shop in store, you’ll receive a token to place in the box of the good cause you’d like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the share of the donation they receive.
Since its launch in 2008, the scheme has donated £14 million to local charities.
If you're shopping in Waitrose St Albans in January, please support us by placing your token in the Druglink Community Matters box at the end of your shop. Thank you Waitrose St Albans for choosing Druglink!

Druglink is very excited to be part of the 2016 Dragon Apprentice Challenge. Eight teams of students from schools across Dacorum will be putting their entrepreneurial skills to the test as young Apprentices in the 5th Connect Dacorum Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge in a bid to raise money for charity. The Challenge, which was launched on Monday (3rd October), will run concurrently within seven independent regions across Hertfordshire.
Druglink will be working with a team of students from John F Kennedy School, Hemel Hempstead and our Dragon is Barnard & Co. The aim is to turn £100 investment into enough funds to invest in a new generator of our Citreon H Van and towing equipment for our Tuk Tuk. This will enable us to attend even greater number of events expanding volunteering opportunities for those looking to build up skills and experience for the workplace. Watch this space for updates!
